Classic looking pirate

The chest seems a bit weird,
Also the right beard string falls right in the middle of the chest,
which gives a slightly odd look

everything else is excellent
I like his expression

Nice work, a little flat in parts, his torso mainly. Perhaps some more shades and deeper colours could remedy this. I would have liked to have seen him looking more dirty and scarred, but this is very nice work. Well painted.

I didn't know why I felt that I know this pirate for ages....he didn't look exactly like Mel Gipson but it gives the same great feeling...
I think that Wallace covered all up.....so well done....I'll give you 9....oh no I don't have enough...I'll stick to +7

The backround has a good start, but it seems to need some minor details to break up the sky from the water and the land from the water and sky. Foreshortening of the swords is well done, hard to make it look perfect. The beard isn't actually flat it seems pitched more to the left then the rest of the face, also the tied up beard on his right is lined up with the sternum making it look flat. A shadow on the cheek or moving it right or right of it's current location could lessen the flatness. One area confuses me is the boards, why the orange? Well done overall, hopefully my points are taken as helpful.

Thanks guys, for c&c...I noticed the string of the beard nead some shadow...in the background you can see some smoke becouse the deck below is on fire, that is whay the orange...

I make some small changes on shadows and shirt ...

Kind of what I figured about the orange being light from a fire below deck. I missed the smoke on the left edge of the image, oops. Thanks for the response.
